Getting around this hilly property is a workout—especially the hike to the skylight-topped restaurant—but the setting on 66-acre cardamom plantation is phenomenal. Standard double rooms are more pleasant than the narrow two-story deluxe rooms, while luxury cottages have spacious upstairs living rooms and balconies with spiral staircases leading downstairs to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Furnishings are of rustic cane and rubber wood, and the granite-and-tile bathrooms are spotless.
