Curlie's Bar

At the south end of Anjuna, Curlie's is something of an institution, with electronic music parties in season. With a great sea view and a basic menu, this is an essential pit stop for anyone who wants to sample the hard-partying side of Goa.

Primrose Music Club

Situated between Anjuna and Vagator, this is a favorite spot to get the night started. It started off as a hot spot with the psychedelic trance crowd, and while those parties have moved indoors in keeping with new legislation, as is the case at most Goan nightspots, Primrose continues to be very popular in season (it's closed all monsoon).

Shore Bar

The most popular place to down beer, watch the dramatic sunset over the Arabian Sea, and listen to loud music until the wee hours is the Shore Bar on the beach. The steps of this place are usually packed with people, especially on Wednesday after the flea market. Walk north from the market for about a kilometer to get here.

Tito's

Probably the best known of all Goa's clubs, Tito's is always packed. Unlike the clubs and beach shacks further north in Anjuna and Vagator, which tend to attract a bohemian set, Tito's aims squarely at the mainstream, and is particularly popular with Indian and Russian tourists. Expect fashion shows, famous DJ mixers, theme nights, popular dance music, and expensive drinks.
