Reservations and Rates

Increasing competition means there are bargains to be had, especially during the low season from November through March. Avoid traveling during the Golden Week (always the first week of October), when the city is packed and rooms and prices are at a premium. During Chinese New Year (mid-January to mid-February) there are excellent deals to be had and the city is astoundingly quiet; the downside is that everything is closed.

Rates quoted may or may not include breakfast, so double check online. All hotel prices listed here are based on high-season rates.
