Parisian Florence Samson, who has lived in Shanghai for more than a decade, sells both Chinese and French tea at inflated prices, but the location in a 1930s lane house and the second-floor café, up a winding narrow staircase, make it quite charming. If you decide to purchase one of the cornflower-blue tea canisters as a souvenir, we recommend filling it up at a less expensive shop.
