Fodor's Expert Review Thai BBQ 2
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
The Thai food here is truly excellent and about as authentic you can get in Hong Kong. It's a point-and-order kind of restaurant, since some of the best items are the ones that aren't on the menu. One of these is the moo kata: various raw meats and offal, cooked on a raised, dome-shape charcoal-powered grill, which is surrounded by a mote of boiling broth. The meat juices trickle down from the grill to flavor the broth, which can also be used to cook the meats or accompanying greens, mushrooms, and vermicelli. Call a day ahead if you want to try this dish.
