When to Go

Peak Season: January to September

Brunei's climate is hot and humid all year long. Temperatures are remarkably constant, ranging from about 30ºC (86ºF) in December and January to 32ºC (90ºF) from April to August, with overnight temperatures from about 21–24ºC (70–75ºF). The driest months, February to March, are a good time to go, but you'll encounter some rain in every season, so plan to bring along light rain gear.

Off Season: October to December

These are the rainiest months, when the monsoon can drop several inches of rain in a few hours.

Shoulder Season: There is no true "shoulder season" in Brunei.
