Tours and Packages
It may be worth researching what packages are available for your trip to Dubai. Hotels have high rack rates and travel agents can often get reduced prices through bulk buying power. One disadvantage may be that travel agents have relationships only with certain hotel groups and chains, which will limit your options of where to stay. Discuss this with your travel agent before committing to a booking.
Guided tours to the region usually include Dubai as part of a seven- or eight-country tour, often under the title "Persian Gulf" tour or "Oman and UAE" tour. Adventures Abroad offers guided tours for small numbers of no more than 21 people to locations including the Persian Gulf and the UAE. Bestway Tours and Safaris operates guided tours, allying Dubai and the UAE with surrounding Gulf states, or contrasting with countries such as Ethiopia or Tanzania in Africa. Dubai is a popular port for cruise lines. Celebrity cruises often partner Dubai with India or the Red and Mediterranean seas.
