Dubai Horse Racing Carnival. The Dubai racing carnival runs from November to March, and culminates in the Dubai World Cup, which, although classed as the world's richest horse race, only costs from AED25 to enter. Of course, this rises exponentially depending on the standard of luxury you wish to view the race from, ranging from the grandstand to the sky bubble. There are both turf and dirt tracks, stable tours, numerous eateries, areas licensed to serve alcohol, and a five-star hotel on-site. Note that gambling in the UAE is illegal, and this includes betting on horse races. Some of the premium areas may have a horse raffle, which is organized by the Dubai Racing Club, and is allowed.
