Not the most grandiose or the most character-filled of the hotels in Stone Town, but when it comes to wanting a decent room with all the amenities that come with a modern hotel, Double Tree hits the mark. Many of the furnishings are carved by local artisans and though the hallways are rather dimly lit, the rooms are neat and clean, albeit with no views. Opt for the suites if you are looking for ample space and take advantage of the friendly service and staff who are able to help you with tours around the city.
