Fodor's Expert Review Cape Dutch Quarters

The rooms here are in various centuries-old houses dotted about historic Church Street. The houses have been beautifully restored, and the Cape Dutch style runs through the fittings and decor. Bathrooms in the main house feature antique brass finishes and handmade tiles, and all of the buildings are decorated with antiques and South African artwork. The  main house has a lush garden, a covered barbecue terrace, and an inviting swimming pool area with comfy daybeds. A rooftop terrace has uninterrupted views of the valley. Breakfast, a three-course affair, is served in the grand dining room or by an open hearth in the farm-style kitchen.
