Fodor's Expert Review Fushi & BoMa
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Plett's slickest, sleekest eatery is all clean surfaces and classical lines. Start with a cocktail and Asian snacks at BoMa, the alfresco terrace, then move into the main restaurant for dinner. In addition to sushi, there are some fabulously named fusion main courses, such as the Angry Samurai (slow-braised chili-and-garlic lamb with lentil pilaf and cucumber yogurt), Sideways into the Sea (tempura-style soft-shell crab), or Field of Enchantment (Nepalese-style vegetable curry). The wasabi crème brûlée is a new twist on an old favorite. Service is slick, there's a good wine list, and prices are surprisingly reasonable. The BoMa also serves light meals and a popular brunch on Sundays, and the Chef's Bar downstairs is open until late.
