Given its stunning situation, you'd expect more—as in a view. Thanks to its unique location as the only development past Camps Bay on the pristine fynbos-covered slopes, overlooking the wild Atlantic Ocean, this spa comes in at the top of many lists. Unfortunately, its dark indoor space doesn't profit sufficiently from its gorgeous setting. But as this is really about spa therapy, you can book your massage, manicure, facial, or a romantic Moonlight Treatment for two in a temperature-controlled, glassed-in gazebo 300 feet away for some of the best views on the Cape (request a gazebo when you reserve). Many of the wraps and treatments incorporate natural, locally sourced ingredients (Cape snowbush, Cape lavender, and buchu, an indigenous medicinal herb). Indoor hydrotherapy facilities include a brine flotation pool, heated jet pool, cold plunge pool, and sauna.
