Elegant and relaxing, Cape Cadogan has the deftness of touch that all good boutique hotels should, backed up by a host of cute extras and fantastic staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.
Fodor's Expert Review
This fabulous, well-located Georgian and Victorian boutique hotel dates back to the beginning of the 19th century and is now a designated national monument. The charming public areas—a library, lounge with wood-burning fireplace, pool, and patio—are great places to relax, and the staff are accommodating and able to arrange just about anything you need. Located in the trendy Kloof Street area, it is within walking distance of numerous cafés and restaurants and has a great breakfast and tasty extra treats galore in its own right.

What's Nearby
Getting Around
The hotel is fantastically close to all the bars and restaurants of Kloof Street, which is a major plus. It's also pretty easy to reach the rest of the city's sights, albeit by car--although it only takes around ten minutes. The hotel provides a transfer service.
Restaurants
Da Vinci's on Kloof (2-minute walk) is a friendly pizza place with a good vibe. Or El Burro Taqueria Kloof Nek (5-minute walk) dishes up fresh, spicy Mexican food in a tiny little space. Be prepared to wait for a table at a nearby bar.
