Surfing

Surf dudes the world over rate Morocco's southern Atlantic coast one of the world's best places to catch waves. There has recently been something of a surfer boom in the region. Today there are countless surf schools, many run by foreigners who came to surf and then simply couldn't tear themselves away. Many surf shops and schools are based in Taghazoute, 22 km (14 miles) north of Agadir. From there, instructors will take clients to local bays and points according to wind and tides.
