Fodor's Expert Review One Up

Scottish hairdresser John has created this restaurant within the former British consulate building of old Mogador and decorated it to fit in among the pages of an interior decorating magazine. It's worth a visit for the funky decor alone, but the food is equally enticing, and the service is friendly and attentive. The menu, created by a chef from Le Zinc restaurant in Marrakesh, includes fish and meat dishes and a particularly wonderful gourmet burger. Make sure to leave space for dessert—there's an eclectic and tasty collection to choose from.
