Fodor's Expert Review Riad 7

Containing just five pretty but compact rooms, this riad gives tradition a twist by focusing on contemporary decor while still highlighting the carefully preserved features of the ancient building it inhabits. Riad 7 has a cute roof terrace with a sauna and massage room but no on-site restaurant (on the upside, breakfast is included and other home-cooked Moroccan meals can be ordered in advance). The staff are friendly and the welcoming owner, Jean-Jaques, has a wealth of information about Azemmour and its history.
