Dar Bouazza

This beach town on the outskirts of Casablanca used to be quite small but is expanding quickly, as the swell of villas and apartments proves. A haunt for the White City's expatriate community, it has a curious mix of traditional locals—fishermen, surfers, rural families—plus Americans and Europeans. The expat residents, along with well-off Moroccans looking to relax and get away from the stresses of Casablanca, have spurred an increase in entertainment and leisure activity within Dar Bouazza. Surfing, Jet-skiing, beachside dining with live music (and wine), and spa-going are all options. If you are just looking for a relaxing day at the beach, this is a good choice. You can stop at any of the free public beaches for some fun in the sun.
