A mud-built auberge in the Saharan tradition, Kasbah Mohayut has comfortable, air-conditioned rooms that are decorated in the local style (think tiled floors, date-palm ceiling, wrought-iron beds, and colorful rugs); there are also spacious family suites with huge king-size beds, a salon, and a private terrace looking out to the dunes. Arches, fountains, and lanterns adorn the hotel courtyard, which features a swimming pool and sun terrace. Four-wheel-drive excursions, camel treks, and bivouac camping can all be arranged. Rates include dinner and breakfast.
