Taxi Travel

Grands taxis (taxis that travel fixed routes indicated by their parking stations and leave only when full, meaning with six people) are a good way to get from point to point. They travel between cities as well as along fixed routes within Tangier. To avoid a squeeze or unpredictable delay, offer to pay for more than one spot. There are also petits taxis (these are either yellow or blue with a horizontal yellow stripe) that can be flagged down on the roadside and will transport passengers between Tangier and Tetouan; meters should be used for fair pricing.
