Boat and Ferry Travel

Ferry travel is a popular way to get to the Tangier region, especially from Europe. The Tanger-Med cargo port is now being used more as a passenger terminal, with connections to and from Algeciras and Barcelona in Spain, Gibraltar, Genoa and Savona in Italy, and Sete in France. Tanger Ville is a passenger port with regular ferries to and from Tarifa in Spain; it's also a stop for several major cruise lines.
