Fodor's Expert Review Sonya Getzel Shapira
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
This quirky café, decorated with antique glass lamps and other flea-market finds, has a refreshingly relaxed feel. A black-and-white-checked floor adds to the retro vibe. Regulars ask for the shakshuka, a North African dish of panfried tomatoes and spices topped with an egg, as well as the market salad with sweet potatoes and feta cheese with a roasted-pepper dressing. If the weather is pleasant, you can sit in the garden and let the kids roam.
