Fodor's Expert Review Café Bialik

Center City
Café
This veteran of Tel Aviv café culture is the perfect complement to a stroll down historic Bialik Street. Plenty of restaurants serve more or less the same menu as Café Bialik—an "Israeli breakfast," which is a wide selection of chopped salads with eggs done in a variety of ways, toast, coffee, and juice, and sometimes smoked salmon and small sandwiches. But it's the neighborhood-hangout feel and the old-fashioned chrome bar stools and wooden tables that make this place stand out. Evenings ring with live music.
