At several locations around the Sea of Galilee, you can hire pedal boats, rowboats, and motorboats and arrange to water-ski. Serious kayakers convene for an annual international competition in March.

Holyland Sailing. This company has seven wooden boats that are replicas of those in use during the time of Jesus. The 45-minute cruises include historical commentary and concerts of traditional music. Sunset cruises are especially popular. Groups of 20 people can order a cruise for $150, while smaller groups can take sunset sails or call ahead and see if they can join an existing group for $15 per person.
