2. Golani Junction Tree Planting Center
Around the Golani Junction are groves of evergreens planted by visitors as part of the Plant a Tree With Your Own Hands project of the Jewish National Fund. Since the early 1900s, more than 250 million trees have been restored to barren hillsides across Israel. At the Golani Junction Tree Planting Center, you can choose a sapling, dedicate it to someone, and plant it yourself; the cost is $18 for adults and $10 for children. Email ahead of time to coordinate your tree planting.
