Scuba Diving

Old Caesarea Diving Center. Located inside the national park, this diving center runs a full range of courses for novices, experts, and everyone in between. Snorkelers are welcome, and divers can use a plastic map and four underwater trails marked by ropes to follow a route of numbered artifacts in the submerged port built by King Herod 2,000 years ago. Half-hour introductory dives to a depth of 6 meters range from NIS 240 to NIS 350; another option is to explore the nocturnal marine life on a night dive. You must make diving reservations in advance. Caesarea Harbor, Caesarea, Haifa, 0388900. 04/626–5898; www.caesarea-diving.com.
