Paragliding

Netanya's cliffs make for exciting paragliding. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you take off from a specially designed field along the promenade about half a mile south of the city center.

Dvir Paragliding. This established paragliding company leads thrilling adventures throughout the year, but the ideal time is from May to October. Make reservations at least two days in advance. Sky Paragliding School. Founded in 1998, the company arranges a onetime guided experience as well as two-day introductory courses. The onetime experience offers a 10–20 minute paragliding adventure in Netanya during the summer, and in northern Israel during the winter, for NIS 250–NIS 450. Call ahead to make reservations.
