Varda, who makes every effort to provide a relaxing stay for guests, runs these comfortable country cottages in the rural farming settlement of Moshav Ben Ami. Her touches include complimentary wine, lemonade, and ice cream, and ample breakfasts. A tiny rock fountain burbles outside the door of each tile-roofed cabin, and wind chimes provide soothing sounds. Inside, each room has clay-hued sofas, bright white pillows and coverlets, Druze-built wood-burning stoves, and hot tubs. It's about 3 km (2 mi) east of the city.
