Less touristy and more serene than some of the other beaches, Mineral Beach is a great place to unwind and mingle with Israelis. There's a warm sulfur pool fed by a natural thermal spring, a freshwater wading pool for kids, free pots of Dead Sea mud, and plenty of shade for relaxing on the sand. Reserve massages in advance. Amenities: food and drink; lifeguards; parking (free); showers; toilets. Best for: swimming; walking.
