Californian Denny Neilson and his son, Matthew, brew beer, alcoholic apple cider, and hard lemonade in Beit Shemesh. The brewery is named for the family dog; the cider—dry or sweet—is crisp and delicious. The visitor center offers tastings, and sells the bottled beverages along with home-brewing equipment. Free factory tours are offered at 11, noon, and 1 pm on Friday, but require advance booking online. Group tours are also available during the week, by appointment.
