Peak Season: November to May

Expect dry, cool weather this time of year. Between January and April, evening and morning temperatures can be cooler than expected, so pack a jacket.

Off Season: June to October

Hotels are easier to book at this time of year, but the weather is hot and rainy, though not as rainy as in the past. Precipitation levels have been falling over the past 30 years. From July to October the humidity level is particularly high, and temperatures can exceed 38ºC (100ºF).
