Fodor's Expert Review Mövenpick Resort El Quseir

Al Owina, el-Quseir, Red Sea, 84712, Egypt

This is one of the more tranquil settings on the Red Sea Coast—even the buildings blend with the surrounding environment. One of Egypt's more prominent architects, Ramy Dahan, used the granite of the nearby mountains to create a Nubian-style village—and to give the bungalows the same rose tint found in the surrounding area. The resort is considered to be a green hotel development.
