The attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the proliferation of marble in the vast double-height lobby to the expensive gourmet ingredients used in the restaurants. The overall design draws on several eras, but it all seems to come together. The outdoor spaces, with their blue-and-white striped cotton furnishings, have a very Mediterranean resort feel, while the art deco movement inspires the style of the bar. Rooms are luxurious but conservative.
