Sounds weird, looks adorable!

At the Wolong National Nature Reserve in China, incredibly dedicated zookeepers dress as pandas in order to interact with panda cubs. The results are too cute.

What is the weird but totally awesome stunt all about? The panda sanctuary at the Nature Reserve is famous for its reintroduction programpwhich provides a natural setting far from captivity. To further the charade, keepers don panda suits and daub bear urine and feces in order to recreate an environment the cubs are likely to encounter and reduce the amount of human interaction the cubs receive.

Cubs who get too much human love and attention have a reduced success rate in the wild, so if you’re dying to cuddle, suit up!
