This Thanksgiving Will Be the Busiest Travel Period in Nearly a Decade

If you’re planning on packing up the car or heading to the airport this Thanksgiving, be prepared to share the road and the sky with 48.7 million people. A forecast by AAA is predicting that this Thanksgiving will be the busiest travel period since 2007. Nearly 44 million people are expected to travel a minimum of 50 miles to their destination with 4 million expected to travel by air.

The forecast was calculated by taking into account such factors as jobs, household net worth, the stock market, airline prices, and gas prices.
