Victor P. Corona

Victor P. Corona is a sociologist in Los Angeles. His first book, Night Class (Soft Skull Press, 2017), explores New York nightlife from the Warhol and club kid eras to contemporary scenes. His writing appears in VICE, Los Angeles Review of Books, GO Magazine, New York Art Beat, and elsewhere. Victor teaches at Emerson College’s L.A. campus and Cal State L.A. Born in Mexico City, he earned a B.A. at Yale and Ph.D. at Columbia. Victor moved to L.A. in 2018 and previously lived in New York City, Washington, D.C., Mexico City, and New Haven, Connecticut.
