Tayla Blaire
Tayla Blaire is a born-and-bred South African, passionate about increasing tourism to her home country, whilst continuing to collect as many stamps in her passport as she can. In 2022, she has trips planned to quadbike the dunes of Namibia, canoe Lake Moraine in Banff National Park, and explore London in more depth than her previous 2013 trip allowed. Her writing has appeared in Refinery29, HuffPost, Insider, Success, Stylist, Glamour, the Independent, and more. Tayla also works as a copy and content writer for lifestyle brands, including travel companies and influencers. Her background in English, Psychology and Education lends her writing a unique perspective where she is able to educate, entertain and, hopefully, inspire. She has been a freelance writer for five years and loves helping burgeoning writers break into the field as she believes there is always more room at the table. Tayla has appeared on panels about becoming a freelance journalist for organizations like The Freelance Sessions. She currently lives in Johannesburg, South Africa with her Canadian husband and two cats.
