Lynn Brown is a writer, teacher, digital storyteller and traveler whose work centers on issues of race, place, culture and history. She's currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Journalism at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and the New School in New York, but has previously lived New Orleans, Paris and San Francisco. Her work has been published in well known media outlets such as GQ, Ebony, Vice, Conde Nast Traveler among others and she is currently working on both a travel guide to the Deep South for Moon Travel and a speculative fiction novel based in New Orleans mythology.
