Kerri Allen

Kerri Allen is an award-winning writer and a former fellow with The New York Times Institute for Journalism. Over her 20-year career, she has written more than 300 pieces for top outlets including The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, HuffPost, Budget Travel, Fathom, Gayot: The Guide to the Good Life, and many more. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Rutgers University, which led her to study in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and an M.P.S. in Global Strategic Communications from Georgetown, with on-the-ground work in Singapore, London, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. She is a proud member of the Impact Travel Media Alliance, which gathers journalists, bloggers, and influencers who are committed to sustainable travel. Kerri calls Brooklyn, NY her home.
