Kanika Gupta

Kanika Gupta is a passionate writer and a photographer based in New Delhi, India with a nose for unique stories. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Her articles have appeared in India101, Kashmir Ink, and Inc Arabia. Kanika’s coffee table book on Amarnath Yatra was commissioned by Central Reserve Police Force to commemorate the collaboration of Indian government with the local Kashmiris in conducting a mass pilgrimage. She has also worked with various tourism boards, most prominently with Jammu & Kashmir and Rajasthan. She also blogs extensively on Kashmir and its syncretic culture along with many other off-beat destinations, most notably Afghanistan. Kanika lives between Delhi and Srinagar, Kashmir.
