Emily Rose Mawson

After studying French and German at The University of Manchester, UK, Emily wrote her way around France, Austria and Switzerland for ten years, living in St. Tropez, Innsbruck and Zurich, where she also worked in internal communications for a prestigious Swiss private bank. She has now found her soul place, between mountains and sea, on the beautiful Isle of Arran in Scotland, where she shoos away writer’s block with bracing walks into secret glens and along wild coasts. She specializes in content on slow travel and slow living, and is published in titles including The Telegraph, The Independent, National Geographic Traveller, Hidden Scotland and Time Out Switzerland.
