David Volk
David Volk is a Seattle-based freelancer who loves to keep the pot stirred. When he’s not hanging with his family or writing humor pieces for Medium, he can usually be found seeking odd attractions, attending unusual events and looking for laughs in unexpected places. Over the last 20 years his work has appeared in publications ranging from Alaska Airlines Magazine and Seattle Magazine to USA Today Go Escape and Smithsonian Air & Space. He also wrote the books “The Cheap Bastard’s Guide to Seattle” and “The Tribe Has Spoken: Life Lessons From Reality Television.” Although he is a Florida native, one of his happiest days was seeing the entire state in his rearview mirror. He now lives in the Pacific Northwest.
