Blane Bachelor is a Florida-born, Europe-based journalist who covers travel, aviation, outdoor adventure, parenting, and women doing awesome things. Her work has appeared in outlets including the New York Times, CNN, New York magazine, Outside, The Washington Post, Runner’s World, Hemispheres, and many others. An Air Force brat, Blane was bit by the travel bug early, and her journalism career has paved the way for countless (mis)adventures all over the world. She hold's a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Florida and has worked in roles across the media industry: sportswriter, book author, dating and advice columnist, corporate consultant, editor, and travel writer. Blane has lived in London, Washington, D.C., Valparaiso (Florida, not Chile), Tampa, Fort Worth, Barcelona, Atlanta, San Francisco, Berlin, and Amsterdam. And yes, Bachelor is her real last name.
