SJ Armstrong
SJ Armstrong is a writer and traveler from London. Having traveled from a young age, she has been to over 80 countries, including stints living and working in Perth, Melbourne, Budapest and Medellín.
Previously working in media in London, she quit to travel around the world full time, and has worked as a freelance writer for the last year. As well as writing for Fodors, her work has been published via popular travel publications including Horizon Guides, Matador Network and in-flight magazines.
She has returned to London to study full time, working towards an MA in Postcolonialism, exploring the impact of colonialist discourses on travel and travel writing. She has also undertaken a travel writing qualification at the London School of Journalism.
