Ashville, NC or Greenville, SC
Thinking of driving from NJ to northern AL and return in mid to late October. Hoping for some nice foliage at least on the way south. Along the way, would like to explore either Greenville or Ashville. Mainly just sightseeing and eating. Short, easy walks or hikes. Good photo ops.
Anyone have a preference of which to go to?

Either could be a good choice IMO but I suspect Asheville might be a little more to do and see. Leaves may be peaking or just past at that time--you never know . I think we have had a good bit of rain this year so it may be later. Make reservations!!
