Anyone traveled on Cunard recently know the Covid certificate requirements?

Hello,
I have called Cunard several times and they have given me different answers about what is required regarding Covid requirements to get on the ship.
I would like to leave in March from Germany to the US and some agents for them said I need a digital certificate others a paper one will be ok. Others also said I have to have a PCR. I heard from a person that works for them that I also have to take an antibody test. Others said I need to dl a PLF paper to write down information. I asked where can I get the right information, some said I check with try US CDC and others the German one. Does anyone know where I can find the correct Covid requirements for getting on the March sailing from Germany to the US?

Cunard is the source. If they can't answer your question to your satisfaction then neither can we. Even if someone does give you an answer, the rules could change between now and March. Just another reason to get out now.

I've done the best I can do with this. Good luck.

Have you posted your question or looked for articles on Cruise Critic's Cunard Boards?

I found this https://www.cunard.com/content/dam/c...DA-secured.pdf

Go to Page 3 for Germany

"If you are embarking or starting your journey in Hamburg, you will need to show proof of a negative PCR test (taken with in 48 hours) prior to embarkation or a negative antigen test taken (within 24 hours). PLF must be completed, guests are also required to upload proof of vaccination to the form in order to be exempt from the quarantine period."

The other piece of your question is what do I need to get off the ship in Brooklyn, scroll down to the last Page

You need a PCR or antigen test 24 hours before arrival. That would be done on the ship. A PLF is not required.

You will also have to research how to get INTO Germany. You will have to check if you have visited a RISK AREA

If Ukraine remains a non risk area, and you fly nonstop, you still have to carry a negative test result, OR proof of vaccination OR recovery. If flying the airline should have the information on the website. You do not need to complete the Digital Registration on Entry

If you take a train, you pass through Poland which then complicates things immensely.More here on entering Germany. Also check with Lufthansa since they fly nonstop Lviv to Frankfurt.

Maybe a short flight would be acceptable in light of the situation. Otherwise transit through Poland puts him in quarantine jail once he reaches Germany.

Hello, anyone interested in splitting this transatlantic with me?

Hello,I was wondering if anyone would be interested in splitting a cruise from Germany, stopping in France and England then ending in NY? It is from March 17th to the 27th on QM2.

I am still waiting for my second vaccine. I have to have it in order to get on the ship. Plus, Germany might require it to even get in the country. Once I leave Ukraine I dont think I can get it in other places.

So go to Poland, you probably have to do that anyway to get to Germany. According to the US embassy in Poland you can get vaccinated there, and you only need a negative test for entry.

I am having a hard time believing in the sick mother given how long this is taking.
