Interesting blog about a 50-day trip to Spain/Portugal... unusual destinations
Valuable for the inexpensive lodging, well documented, and the many nature walks........unusual view from a couple from Singapore who rented a car and went exploring.
And ate lots of cake!!!!

Before you begin, set yourself up with a few slices of cake!!!!
it veers so far off the content of the "usual," and often repetitive, travel blogs that I spent hours reading it, and looking up some of the places I'd not heard of..Granted. this would not be my trip--they missed an awful lot--but they really sought out some interesting spots, even if they flew through many of them. The included very detailed maps and info on parking are very helpful and not easy to find...and at the end they break down their expenses.....(many euros for coffee and CAKE!!!)
