Amsterdam - Best Places for Dinner for a Group of 11

Hello: A group of 11 of us will be visiting Amsterdam in April 2024 and are looking to have dinner together once or twice while we are there. Can anyone recommend places in the city center that could accommodate our group? We are open to all cuisines and would enjoy a place with nice cocktail and wine lists that doesn't break the bank. Thank you.

" . . . that doesn't break the bank." That mostly depends on how large a bank you have What is your actual budget per person?

I am sure most places with the capacity would accept a group of 11. Book well in advance and be prepared to pay a non refundable booking fee/deposit. Do not expect to spit the bill though.
Find restaurants online that appeal to you and contact them in person to see if they would accept the booking.
April is a busy time in Amsterdam so you need to get to work now.

^^^ Note the part I bolded above. Many North Americans assume separate checks is the norm everywhere. It isn't. Also for that large a group you may need to book by phone. Sometimes there is a limit to parties of 6 or 8 when on-line bookings.

Thank you all for the information and insights - there are several issues here I hadn't considered. We may just have to break up into smaller groups - I fear that if I'm the one recommending the restaurant for the full group of 11 that I'll be the one with the large credit card bill. Lol. I very much appreciate your help.

Cafe Restaurant Amsterdam or Dinner Cruise

I can definitely recommend Cafe Restaurant Amsterdam, a long term local favorite near the Westerpark. The building is beautiful, the service nice and the menu has a lot of classics to chose from. Alternatively, search online for an Amsterdam Dinner Cruise. This combines dinner with a boat tour on the canals.

The nicer hotel restaurants might be accustomed to dealing with groups, and could have nice seating on a canal. Hotel l'Europe or Tivoli Doelen, etc.
