catch the Aurora Borealis in Iceland
We plan to take a trip to Iceland to see the Northern lights and booked flight for Feb 8-11. Based on the Aurora forecast apps, KPI index is 2 at that time. We do not have real sense about this index. Do we have any chance to catch the Aurora Borealis in our trip? If not when is your recommendation?

That is a long way ahead to be relying on a forecast of the Kp Index.
Even when it has a high number you may not get aurora, or they may be less than spectacular (often the case to the naked eye - they are always better in photographs) or it may be cloudy or you may just not be out at the right time.
Go, enjoy Iceland and hopefully enjoy the aurora.
If you want to increase your chances and can change your dates for some reason they can be more active around the equinox. Less night though by then of course.
I have seen them in February, March and October, each trip I made (to Norway not Iceland) I was lucky, whilst I know of others who went for years and never saw them.
