London and Paris

Very unexpectedly, we are going back to Paris in May for my husband to attend a conference that we went to every year pre Covid. I did a lot of scrambling yesterday and found flights that whisk us to London first and then fly back to LAX from Paris. We’ve rented apartments for years, but since there will only be the two of us I decided to research hotels in my preferred location, upper Marais. I ended booking at Hotel National des Arts et Metiers on Rue Saint Martin. It’s got a rooftop terrace that I’m excited to have a glass of vino on…In London, I decided to not go back to the very buzzy but always crowded Hoxton Holborn and picked the Raddison Blu Mercer Street for a more quiet vibe and a location I love. Right in the middle of all my favorite restaurants in London. Can’t wait.

Thank you! If anyone has stayed at either of those hotels I would love feedback. Also want to do one night at traditional bistro and considering Chez Georges, La Bourse et La Vie or Bistro Paul Bert.

How exciting! I am sorry not to be any help with the restaurants or hotels but have a great trip!
