Portugal/Spain or Turkey/Greece

How would Fodor members spend 2-3 weeks in early June? Regarding the Mediterranean, our past trips have been to Athens/Santorini/Crete, France, Italy, and Croatia.
  • Portugal/Spain (Lisbon, Seville w/ day trip to Granada, Mallorca)
  • Turkey (Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Bodrum)
  • Turkey (Istanbul, Ephesus/Bodrum) + Greece (Milos, Naxos/Paros) I'm not sure about the ferry logistics to visit these islands.
Also, we have a 1.5-year-old, which we may or not bring along based on the destination. We were advised not to bring small ones to Turkey.

I do not see that much difference between Turkey and other Mediterranean countries in term of health hazards, but I do not keep up with the literature. I would choose the only Turkey option. With the exception of Bodrum, we saw Istanbul on our first trip and then flew to Izmir, picked up a rental and drove to Ephesus, Pamukkale, and Capadoccia and then flew back to Istanbul. We spent about three weeks in Turkey.

But will traveling with a toddler be enjoyable? Seeking a couple of fixed locations might be preferable.
